Over the past 12 months, the organization has focused on developing online courses that are beneficial to all professionals. The ultimate goal is to increase the productivity of professionals, corporations, and academic institutions in a changing global work environment. Thus, as an EdTech finishing school for the future of work, BMGA has curated courses to address soft skills that are essential in the business climate across the world. 

 

The organization’s courses are designed with the BMGA methodology, which factors in the anthropological learning pattern of humans and how the human brain gathers, retains, and recalls information. Also, BMGA has a great deal of expertise in effectively catering to entry-level, mid-level, and C-Suite professionals, within corporate organizations because they partner with subject-matter experts and professors from top institutions across the world, such as the Yale Centre for Emotional Intelligence, Thunderbird School of Global Management, and Walt Disney Imagineering to deploy courses within the appropriate cultural contexts. This way, BMGA promotes the global democratization of high quality education.

 

The residence courses address concepts such as Business Etiquette, Emotional Intelligence, Story Intelligence, among others. This ensures that participants develop core soft skills necessary for the Fourth Industrial Revolution as highlighted by the World Economic Forum. 

 

First, the Business Etiquette course is designed to ensure that participants deepen their understanding of business etiquette, ethics, professionalism, and essential people skills that are necessary for professional advancement. It enables participants to embrace different perspectives and challenge their own assumptions. The course is led by Gbemisola Abudu, a seasoned business leader with over 15 years of experience in growing and delivering transformational impact across various sectors in emerging and developed markets. She has worked as a global marketer in different capacities for some of the most reputable companies and governments in the world, where she focused on brand stewardship, customer excellence, business development, and operational management such as Walt Disney Corporation, White & Case LLP, Clorox Company, Louis Vuitton, Polo, and Anap Jets.

 

The Emotional Intelligence course is designed to provide professionals from diverse industries and sectors with an opportunity to develop their emotional intelligence which will have a direct impact on their productivity and the bottom line of their organization. The course is facilitated by Dr. David Caruso, a management psychologist and leading global expert with over 20 years of experience in the field of Emotional Intelligence. He is affiliated with the Yale Centre for Emotional Intelligence. He is also the co-author of the Mayer, Salovey, and Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test (MSCEIT), one of the globally recognized and widely used ability-based tests of Emotional Intelligence. 

 

Furthermore, the Story Intelligence course introduces participants to the ‘7 Powers of Story’ and how to effectively draw upon these powers to become a formidable, persuasive leader who can effectively engage communities to embrace the changes needed to create a more sustainable world.  The course is facilitated by Richard Stone, a globally recognized speaker on the power of storytelling and its application to business. He has over 25 years of experience in developing story-based programs for team building and leadership development. Richard has served as the StoryAnalytics Master for the IDEAS Innovation team (a former division of the Walt Disney Company). He has also worked with organizations such as Walt Disney Imagineering, Hewlett Packard, Kraft Foods, and Novant Health. 

 

To ensure experiential learning, participants will have access to modern technological tools that encourage an interactive online learning experience. In addition, they will get the opportunity to further engage with the instructors via live classes. 

 

Upon completion of each course, each participant will receive a certificate from BMGA which is approved by a globally renowned independent accreditation body. This certificate provides credits that count towards continuous professional development across the world.
