Meet the instructor
Dr. David Caruso
David Caruso, Ph.D., is a management psychologist and leading global expert on emotional intelligence with over 20 years of experience. He is affiliated with the Yale Centre for Emotional Intelligence (YCEI). David received a Ph.D. in psychology from Case Western Reserve University and was a National Institute of Child Health and Human Development pre-doctoral Fellow. Furthermore, he spent two years as a post-doctoral Fellow in developmental psychology at Yale University.
He has co-authored many scientific publications on emotional intelligence. He is also a co-founder of the Mayer, Salovey, and Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test (MSCEIT), one of the most used ability-based tests of Emotional Intelligence in the world.
